04 Spec V rims on a 89 hatch

There is guy who is willing to sell me his '04 Spec V wheels. I was just wondering how these would fit and look on my 89 hatch. I told him I'd go 400 and the tires look new and the rims are in good shape. Just wondering, worth it or not?

They will look very nice...if I'm not mistaken alot of people have wanted to do that (pretty sure there was a past thread on it, but I'm too lazy to search right now...sorry;))

yeah the 04's are ugly 6 spokes.

i had the 03's they are a lot nicer in my opinion.

Might wanna check the offset on the Sentra wheels. Stock 240 wheels have +40mm offset, and Sentra/G20 wheels have +45mm offset, so it might look a little sunken without spacers.

I have Spec-V 02 wheels on my coupe, the offset is like +43 so stock brakes only on these. I think they look sweet especially for a factory Nissan wheel, and hardly anyone has them on their 240 (at least around here, I haven't seen one). Plus they are light wheels.

there is a s13 with them around my town... it looks iight... but they look way better on the s14...

the guy is still pending on the sale. He said he would tell me tomorrow night whether he was or wasnt goign to sell them to me. I'm hoping he does. I want som ewheels, and soon.

the wheels are on the car. I can admit I like them much more on my 240 than I would have liked the 02-03's. I'm happy with them, I'll try to get pics up by the end of the week if I can.

Ok altiman--your rims are gay... i have seen your car and these rims do not fit ure car at all.... why are you tryign to make a 240sx look cool? 240s do not look cool at all. some are fast--ures isnt. Your car is slow, gay, and breaks down every other day... I woudl think with a "new" engine you wouldnt have to take your car into the shop every day but i guess i was wrong. Sell your POS car and buy a cool car actually.

he is a buddy of mine. He owns a 98 V6 (auto) mustang and is always talking smack about my 240 and 240's in general. He thinks he has to come on to NICO and make fun of us cuz his car has nothing on 240's or any Nissan in general. He has a big mouth and talks smack to everyone. His car is slow, and so is his mind.

as soon as I can get my hands on a digi cam i'll get them up. No, it's not a vert, either. I also just installed an exhaust system. Hopefully I can get some pics up soon.

yeah, those are the 02-03 spec v wheels that 3 others of us have posted.

altiman has the 04 wheels which are different.
