You don't connect to the sensor itself. You use the main ECU and simply tap into its electrical line. Double check the instructions here.
The ECU is in a box in the firewall. Disconnect the battery. There’s a box in the passenger corner of the engine bay in the firewall. Remove it. Now, open it to find the ECU. Take the white clip thing off and push the black lever back from where it was to separate the wiring from the ECU.
At that point, you'll have to find out what wire is for your first O2 sensor and simply strip a little of the wire, then wrap your gauge's wire around that and solder there to get the signal.
Alternately, you could find the signal wire coming off the sensor and do the same procedure to it. The sensor sticks out of the exhaust mani.
