04 Sentra Drivers side door handle not working

Cannot open door using handle from inside car. Dooor opens from outside.
Any thoughts as to what the problem is.
If panel has to be removed can some one provide detailed instructions?

Sounds like the rod came off the back of the inside handle or the place where it goes into the handle broke.

Page 31 has door panel removal instructions.

Thanks for info.
I pulled panel. Everything that I see seems to be mechanically working.
When inside handle pulled everything seems to move. Nothing floping around.
The only thing I cant see is where the rod goes into the latch mechanisim. But again nothing disconected that I can tell.

Any other sugestions.
