thinking bout replacing the sub on the back deck..I have a bose system in the car and i know that if i replace the speaker..im gonna have to use a different amp cuz the one in the car wont be powerful enough..i was just wondering what size is the sub on the back deck..i have a 04 g35 sedan with the bose but no navi....thinking bout a JL 8w3 but not sure if it'll fit or if it will even work...

aftermarket sub and aftermarket amp. i wish i can help out but i was lucky that the previous owner already had it installed. i think it was joe603 that had the same sub that i have... maybe someone else can help. by the way i have the stock bose w/o navi and have an aftermarket sub and amp working with it...

yea that was my plan to get an aftermarket sub and amp..but i dont know what sub will fit the stock spot on the back deck..im trying not to get a box and all that in the trunk because i want to have a clean look..and i dont plan on changing the head unit so i was just seeking advice on what size it was and what kind of subs i can chose from but thanks for your reply..if you have any pics of your system you think i can take a look?.

this is the only pic i can find of it but its in a box by itself... maybe during daytime i can take better pics
