Got this car a couple months ago, and I want to start making it look good as well as run good.

First thing i really need and want are some blackhousing headlights, I recently got hit by a large object on the freeway and it cracked my right headlight lens, and I figure sine I'm going to replace it might as well replace it with an after market headlight. I just don't kno where I can find one.

2nd - short shifter, modacar has the B&M one for $135 and it would cost between $80-$120 to install (im not good at installing things myself).

3rd - body kit - something simple and not so flashy. and a billet grill to go with it. I've found a nice R34 kit off of extremedimensions.com but was wondering if I could find something a little more simpler. And where i could get that installed along with a paint job.

pretty much im new to fixing up a car, so any advice will help. Thanks ahead of time!

One of our sponsors carried them... I can't remember who at the moment. Check here - http://www.nicoclub.com/addirectory.shtml

They can also be found on Ebay. They're usually listed as "JDM black-housing headlights" in spite of the fact that there is no JDM Sentra. They're all off brands, but most of them only need a re-sealing at worst.

You might have a hard time finding after-market headlights for your 04. Nissan, in their infinite wisdom decided to fix something that wasn't broke and completely change up the front-end of the Sentra for 04+. Your hood, headlights, and bumper are completely different than the 02-03 models. I'm not sure that I have seen any after-market headlights for the 04+. Hell. There's barely any for the 02-03 models.

Stay FAR away from the B&M short shifter. They have a VERY common and nasty habit of breaking the shift cables right where they attach to the shifter itself.

Yea Ive seen the "jdm" headlights on ebay..but i wasn't sure if about $200 after shipping would be worth it if there's no for sure way of knowing it would fit.

Thanks for the 411 on the B&M short shifter..any idea where i can find a good one? cuz thats the only one ive been able to find...

I did a Google search and found several hits. The TWM one comes highly recommended on other B15 boards.

Crap, I forgot about the 04+ change at that hour. Every pic I've seen of a Spec shows a black housing, regardless of year/design change. The area around the actual bulb isn't black, obviously, but the rest is... did they have multiple headlamp types?

The B&M has issues with the cables, as stated above.

The cleanest kit is the NISMO unit, IMO. It's basically just a lip kit.

I believe Nismo has a front lip out for the 04-up Sentras and it is really clean looking. I would prolly go that route if I were you if you want something simple and clean.

Other than that there are a few body kit styles out for it but if you think the R33 kit is too radical than I would say most of them would prolly not fit your style hence the front lip mentioned above.

And I have a TWM style short shifter on my 02 and I like it and it is extrmely easy to install. It works on a different principle than the B&M unit.
