A friends 2004 Quest transmission has died and he asked me to swap a new one in for him. I was wondering, from the factory service manual it appears that to change the transmission you actually have to drop the engine as well because it is all mounted in something called the Front Suspension Mount.
Is there really no other way to get this transmission out?

I would if I had to, but then we own a Villager.
