Well this is the last post. I traded in "Nikki" with 275K miles, and oil leaks, blown front channel amp, shift lock solenoid broken, rough ride at 50 mph. I will say that she has never left me broken down on the side of the road. I had her 10 years and she didn't owe me nothing. She performed flawlessly in snow with the on the fly 4 wheel drive mode. I wish you all the best with the outstanding Nissan vehicle you may own.

Seems the mid-00's Nissan vehicles were quite simply bulletproof.

My best buddy finally let his 04 Xterra go at 330k miles, and it was a trooper up 'til the day he sold it.

Rust is the main killer .... All three of mine have been very reliable.

Out of curiosity, what vehicle did you end up getting?
My Qx4 with 192k miles is going to die due to some severe rust around the windshield and I can't seem to find an equivalent vehicle to replace it with. It's a shame they didn't make newer R50s.

Yup. The last good Pathfinder was 2004. Last good Altima and Sentra, 2006.
It seems with the decision to infect their entire lineup with CVT's in 2007, the brand imploded.
I haven't seen anything innovative or any industry leading products or features come from this Company in 15 years.
It's like they just shut down their R&D department, and decided it was cheaper to copy and duplicate what everyone else was doing.
There is nothing unique in their product offerings, and most of it is of dubious quality.
I now drive a Mazda BTW.
