Make sure if you get a 04 that the butterfly recall was performed. With a purchase of any Spec V or for that matter Sentra with the QR25DE motor you need to make sure you loctite the butterfly screws in the intake manifold. Replace the header to eliminate the precat disentigrating as well. Other than that there arent really any problems to watch out for on the car other than just making sure the prior owner didnt beat the crap out of it.
There great fun for autocrossing too since they come with a 6 speed HLSD transmission, nice progressive torque band too, 180 tq at the crank which translates to about 160 at the wheels, all of which is available from about 2000 RPM all the way until the butterflies open up at 5200RPM, at that point torque drops off slightly but horsepower continues to climb until redline.
