04 nissan xterra 02 sensors

just changed pre cat right side and left side upper 02 sensors.drove truck about 20 mins and check eng light came on. cleared codes , drove truck to store on the way back light was back on .checked codes and were same codes before i changed 02 sensors.does anyone have any feed back on this thanks

you sure the code is coming from the front O2 sensors and not the rears?

yes the two codes that keep coming up are pre converter 152 pre converter.I clear codes and about 15 to 20 mins fo drive time and check engine light goes back on .re check codes and the two same codes come back .thank ,joe

Here's a list of causes from a google search:

•Faulty Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 2
•Intake air leaks may be faulty
•Exhaust gas leaks
•Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 harness is open or shorted
•Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 circuit poor electrical connection
•Inappropriate fuel pressure
•Faulty fuel injectors

Anything that says bank 1 means passenger side, and anything says bank 2 is driver's side.

I'd follow the wiring on the O2 sensors to ensure no damage or bad connections next.

removed upper intake now removed lower bolts on lower intake cannot get lower intake off.was told not to pry on intake .did anyone have this with there xterra vg33e.
