04 Maxima Dash Lights

has anyone changed the lights on their 2004 maxima dash. i've seen tons of pictures of people that have done it but nowhere can i find how. i'm assuming they just replaced the existing leds with different colored ones but how did they get the dash off? did they need any specific soldering techniques?

I had it done and yes you need to replace around 400 tiny LED's. I can give you the info for a guy that does it, send me an e-mail...

damn i thought they were gonna be regular size LEDs. mabye ill figure out a way to coat them with translucent paint. not sure if it will work. well see. thanks alot though.

Nah that won't work if you want a specific color out of them. Good luck though, e-mail me if you want the info of the guy that does it...
