Hi all

I'm having a little trouble figuring out the fuse location for my dome lamp. I'm assuming (hoping) it's just a fuse, as no dome lights (front and back), courtesy lights (bottom of doors) or my side mirror switch work.

The fuse map for the fuses on the inside drivers side or under the hood aren't very clear for this situation, and I was hoping maybe someone has changed them before and knows the answer.

Thank you!

A quick look at the FSM shows interior lights connect via multiple fuses on the driver's side wall. They should be numbered. Looks like #8 may be the one to check, but also look at 3 and 1. Heck, check 'em all, there's only 22 of them ;)

If these all show good, you may have a problem with the "Body Control Module" that controls the illumination, timing, dimming, etc of the interior lights.

I blew mine when I switched to LEDs in the vanity mirrors. Max is right, it's on the left side of the driver side wall. IIRC, you'll be looking for a red 10 amp micro/low profile fuse. They are tiny and are a b**** to remove and install. I remember there not being any spares in the holsters, so I had to go buy one.

Thanks. I found it. Ended up removing every fuse to find the broken one. I've never bent and twisted myself in a more bizarre way to reach something. Figures, it was one of the last ones I removed that was broken...No spares, but it was a 10amp labeled 'Room Lamp' which makes sense, I guess... This car is lucky I love it.

As I've said before, times like this give me a visual of a group of 5 foot Japanese delsigners all sat around a table in the break room. They just finished designing the car and one says to the others: "wait till a tall, bulky American tries to get to THAT part!" and they all have a laugh.

What's funny is I was thinking the same thing while I did it!
