'04 M45 burned-out bulbs in TEMP, AUDIO, & AUTO A/C switches?

Hey folks,I'm getting ready to head back to the dealer to address a non-precise joystick/ENTER button and want to know if anyone else has non lit selector buttons in their center console for the various selection switches & buttons.Specifically:1. my "TEMP" & "OFF" letters for "AUTO A/C" are not backlit.2. my "VOL" by the "AUDIO" button, is not lit.3. my "TEMP" by the "AUTO PASS" button, is not lit.

Someone please take a look to see if this is an issue in their M; I'd greatly appreciate it.

I've gotten used to the layout so I know where everything is, but wanted to roll into my dealership for this in-warranty repair with the most ammunition; because other backlit switches & indicators are really dim and uneven in lighting consistency.

Might as well take care of this before my '04 factory warranty expires...

I have the same ones you listed unlit. I plan on doing the same thing ...but I still have 2 months before the warranty expires. I hope they don't give you a problem.

Had the same problem with mine and they had to switch out some kind of connector that had gone bad. It wasn't actually the bulbs that had gone bad. After they replaced the bad connector everything lights up great. It was covered by factory warranty.

This actually leads me to believe that those were NEVER backlit to begin with? We'll need someone else's input to confirm. Thanks for looking

Mine are the same but I don't think those are suppose to light up. The TEMP VOL TEMP look like they are just painted on to the recessed part of the dash. The AC part of the auto should light up with the auto if it was supposed to. Looks like this is normal. Good to know if not though.
