I just bought a 2004 G35 with Navigation and my cd player wont read any of my cd's. Store bought or burned it isnt reading them. It ejects and loads fine. The radio works but wont read CD. I am at 61,000 miles and the warranty expired at 60,000. Any resolutions out there?

resolution: the stock radio control unit (BOSE) isn't actually made by BOSE. Its made by Clarion. lt has many problems.

Now, if you want to keep what you have, remember that the stock CD player sucks. Burned CD's require insertion several times so it can read, sometimes with regular cd's as well. Keep this in mind. re-insert over and over. If you can space out the CD's in the 6-disc changer and use, lets say, 1-3-5 spots you will probably get better results. Worked for me til mine jammed up and broke

Does it have an error code displayed on the head deck? You probably have to replace the deck. This is a common problem for the 03-04 decks...

Do a search for more info on the problem. If you're under warranty, just have the dealer handle it.
