Hi, my girlfriend has an 04 g35x Sedan with the bose stereo deck. I want to upgrade her system to an aftermarket system with bluetooth and ipod connectivity. She has to use the radio for her ipod and it doesn't come in well. I just want her to sit in and not doing anything but control everything from the stereo and get the best quality available. I'm just having trouble with finding the right deck for her.

I wanna try and keep it $300 and under.

The only thing is, I have no idea with what to look for and such and I won't be installing it because I'm not knowledgeable enough to. But I was looking at like the touchscreen ones like http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130P1400D/ ... erview-tab and I'm not sure how fitting would be. Would I be able to take out the bose cd player and the new one would fit right in? Do I only need to be looking at the skinny decks or would the larger decks fit?

The other thing is, I know Bose is a good quality system, so I would like to keep it within brands like pioneer that I know have great quality systems.

I hope someone here could point me in the right direction.

Thank you very much and if you need anymore information please let me know.

The issue is with the AC control board...on the 03-04s, they share with the head deck. You have to buy a control board /mounting hardware, then the deck.

damnnn... I'm assuming I'll have the same kind of issue even if I went with a single din deck? So what are my options? Scratch the double din, I think I'll only get a single but what can I do?

Single or double...doesn't matter. The issue is with the AC board and head deck share the same space. The kit separates them. I thought about doing it with my 05...but decided against it and added a subwoofer setup instead. Sounded much better!

Ouch, the thing is, I want the new deck for bluetooth and ipod connectivity. I guess I'll just take it to a professional audio shop and see what they say.

I have the USASpec ipod integration solution in my '05 sedan. It connects to the factory cd changer port behind the factory stereo and the sound quality is amazing. Basically, it treats your ipod like a factory cd changer.
