Everything else was on, lights, radio, etc. Car turned back on without a problem, but my service engine light stood on. Took the car to mechanic this morning and the computer ran up a code for the trottle actuator. Went back home took apart the trottle body and noticed that it was really dirty, filled with gunk. Cleaned it with trottle body cleaner put it back together.Disconnected the battery, i'm hoping this will turn off the engine light. Going to leave it disconnected for an hour or two. Anyone thinks this will fix the problem? Car itself is running fine. If not, how much does a trottle body with actuator will run me? Used one? Someone is parting out a G-coupe and suggested that i give him a price. what's a fair price? Will a g-coupe trottle body fit a sedan? I'm sure it does. I know this damn part is really pricey!!
Thanks in advance for any responses.

How many miles are on your G and how often do you change your air filter?
Mine gets pretty dirty and I change mine a couple of times a year.
Here is a photo of mine with 8000 miles on it.
We are having a warm day in NJ today so later this afternoon I will be treating my G to its 25th oil change as well as a new air filter. My last air filter change was in November at 71k miles. I'm up to 80,325 miles today.
Changing the air filter is a $10 DIY 10 minute job and very important in keeping the MAF sensor clean.
