04' G35 - speaker cuts out

Front driver side speaker keeps cutting out when im playing a CD...rarely this happens when i listen to the radio. One tech told me it is a wiring issue within the radio unit. Another tech said it is a wiring issue with the speaker itself. Does anyone else have this problem? Thank you for any feedback you can give me!

Well it could be either. The 03-04 head decks have issues...I would look at that first.

Mine did the same thing. I pulled the radio out and noticed that the bottom harness closest to the driver was snapped in but would still wiggle. I wrapped 1 layer of electrical tape around the harness, plugged it back in and its been working great ever since, even over the roughest potholes. Hope this helps.
