'04 g35 sedan brake problems?

I'm looking into purchasing an used '04 g35 sedan, and i've been reading online that there are problems with the brakes. I'm aware most Nissan vehicles has the same problem but how serious is it? Someones mentioned that they spend 7k plus on brakes a year. I don't want to regret once i get the car.... and also, i've read the car makes odd noises while driving.... it's really got me reconsidering purchasing a g35. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

I can't see hjow to spend 7k a year for the brake. It is not that bad. It wears down the brake faster than the 05+ models but that's about it. Also there is more brake dust to my knowledge. But more people will chime in and tell you more.

I might've read wrong in regards to the 7k.... heh... but i'm still on forums reading on it and it seems brakes are indeed a problem. I have a Nissan pathfinder that squeeks way to much it irritates the *hit out of me. I really like the g35, and at the price range of 18-20k, i can't really find another car like it, but if brakes are a problem...duno what to do!!!!!!
