04' G35 front end groan. Ball joint?

I have been hearing a familiar groaning sound. ( had the same sound in my 90 300E) and it was a ball joint. When the car goes over a dip or slight incline at slow speed, you can hear it. Not over a bump, just when the front end dips and bobs up and down. The car has 93k on it and it is not under warranty. Has anyone heard ball joints being a problem on this car? Seems a little premature, even with 93k on the odometer. Thanks

Have you ever had it diagnosed? What is your year? mileage?

Infiniti recently did a buyers' inspection on my car. I think I had the same problem. They said the only thing that they found were some cracked lower control arm bushings (still under warranty). Maybe thats it?

Maybe this is it. I hope its not a ball joint. This would be expensive because I would end up changing both sides as long as the car was up on the rack. I will have it checked. Thanks

i replaced alot of tensioners per a service bulletins for suspension noises

I just had the same problem on my car, which has 31k miles.

They replaced the "compression rods" and the noise went away. It's like a 1 hour job.

What is a " compression rod" ? Never heard of it.

its another suspension part...i believe its supposed to help with the "luxury" ride
