First wanted to express my appreciation as a newbe for your outstanding forum.

Wife just purchased an 04 G35 Coupe with 17K miles. Fantastic automobile - I may even get a chance to drive it in our Georgia mountains one day. After reading your treads I find myself with an urge to replace tires, breaks, stereo, etc., etc. Anyway, where can I find a service manual for this car? eBay has a guy selling the Adobe version on CD for $1 + S&H. Can't beat the price. Has anyone purchased one of these? Is it a waste or is this worth while? My interest is mostly for purposes of general ongoing maintenance, not major mechanical repairs.

Keep up the great work - you all were a very positive influence on our selection. TIA

I bought one from that guy. It looks to be the exact same thing as you can download from PhatG20.

I ordered the Factory Shop Manual for my 2006 G35 Sedan 6sp Man from

https://www.nissan-techinfo.co...1.asp?

I have 15k miles & found the manual helpful in changing the Air Filter yesterday. Took about 15 min. A phillips screwdriver, a 10mm socket wrench & a 10mm combo box & open end wrench is all you need.

Telcoman... did you REALLY spend $210 for something you could have downloaded for free? Or did I misunderstand?

Paying Nissan for their intelluctual property [hard copy or download] vs stealing it from another web site? who stole it or paid for one time use= Separates those by ethics.

Music downloaders, software, etc

However the case can be made that since you purchased a vehicle from the manufacturer vs buying used and are not a repair shop - that any method is ethical. If Nissan was smart they would give every car buyer a CD with the manual on it..................in a nice golden case.

Most of them would get throw away like AOL cd of yore but they tried.Hidden in the trunk would be better so a shop could use it and hopefully return it.
