04 coupe rearseat console

now as i was looking for info on how to remove the (annoying) rear seat console...i came across this topic.

while that tells how to do it i am wondering if anyone has ever done that and what they have replaced it with? im thinking of just making my own filler seat to make a bench seat in the back...possibly with a fold down arm rest with a cup holder...but that might be a little out of reach right now

well if anyone is watchin this or reads this and is interested in finding out i have figured it out and making my own..."filler" i guess you could call it. im takin pictures of the whole process from removing the console to designing the filling and potential armrest/cupholder/whatever else i feel like puttin in it for some info cuz i havent seen any info about it

Be interested to see that. Although I rarely use the rear seats. Or can rarely convince someone to sit there unless there is no other choice

haha thanks guys i should be finishing the filler today and start designing some sort of arm rest/cup holder

somehow i remember seeing or reading about people that have made the backseat reclinable. does anyone know of a link or how to do it? i'm sure it's pretty complex though
