So I know this topic has been covered numerous times and I know there's a search button. I've searched plenty and haven't found specifically what I need to know. I have '04 halogen headlights with HID conversion. I need to replace both headlamp assemblies. After some research, I'm not a fan of using HID bulbs in a reflector housing. Will an HID assembly plug in to my wiring or do I need to get another halogen assembly and still use my conversion kit? Thanks for any help!

Ok so I've figured out that the 04 coupe never came with halogens for the low beam. For some reason the previous owner installed an HID conversion kit. Some assemblies are listed as HID compatible and some are listed as non-HID compatible. Will I be ok with either?

Your questions are somewhat confusing. Can you be very clear about what your are asking/trying to do?

Sorry for any confusion. I got everything figured out. The problem was that the previous owner put in an HID conversion kit and so I naturally thought that it must've had halogens stock. So when I was shopping around for new headlight assemblies, most of them said only HID compatible. So I was a bit confused. It very clearly came stock with HID's so I've figured that part out.

Now I just need to decide what I want to get. I like the OEM look, but everyone says "projectors!". I can't find any '06 projectors for a decent price so I may go with Spyder projectors w/ black housing.

I'd love any input on what you guys think looks good.
