Alright guys, looking at another Z, need some input again!

03z touring. Red. 100% loaded, every option for 03 incl nav, leather, etc...24k miles, 6mt

18,995 is what they have it stickered at, I'm pretty sure I can get him to go 18 or 17,500.

Deal or no deal? :D

Few questions:

1.) Would you be willing to foot the bill to ship it out here?

2.) Can I see pics of the car? Underbody and all. How do I know there's no frame damage and that the car is mechanically perfect?

3.) Would you be willing to pay for someone certified to look at the car?

Tuner everybody starts high they will probably go to $18,000 but remember 24K miles is nothing it is barely broken in, if its loaded sounds like a pretty good deal, and you can see receipts of oil changes and other things. Is the paint well taken care of? Can usually tell if a car has been garaged every night and if it is cleaned once a week. Small things like that make a big difference later on.Let us know what you do and we hope you get any Z for that matter. Ill eat corn while waiting for your purchase.

Thanks for the reply Smoke

The car sounds like an outstanding deal to me. 24k is barely broken in on any sports car! The previous owner was nice enough to do that part for me haha

From the pictures I've seen of the car, the paint looks immaculate, and the leather is PERFECT. The ad says the car was garaged every night. I'll ask to see receipts for oil changes and other maintenance. Should I be worried about the oil consumption issue on an 03? How about axle bolt click?

I always listen for strange noises when looking at any new car, but I'm foreign to the whole Nissan game :-P. Ask me about an MKIII Supra, though, and I can tell you what's wrong with it before you knew something was wrong haha.

No need to worry about oil consumpion on an 03'. The back axle click is a differ. storie. Mine did it also and they ( the dealer) replaced something in the rear end. Now for that price you should be getting the track model. I would not pay that price for anything less. I'm sure you know the track model. You get some better performance options that were not offered on the other z's in that year. I'm sure the car is nice, but you should really hold out and locate a track model, and you'll probably find one for the same $ or less. Good luck!

I haven't been able to find a single track model for sale in my area since they came out. Honestly, I don't think 18 is a bad price for this car, with as clean as it is.

Besides, if I go into a track model for that same price, it'll end up with higher milage from what I keep seeing.

The only real difference I've seen for the track model was the Brembo's...was there more that I'm missing?

Not a bad price. I was looking at a 03 enthusiast with 33k and they wanted just under 20k for it.

Thanks NSR

Anyone happen to know what other extras the Track model got? I tried to do some searching, but all I can find on NissanNews is 04+ models.

Cool deal, I figured it was the same as an 04. So the models go:BaseEnthusiastTouringTrack? right?

The C.A.R. page says the Track model adds onto the enthusiast, meaning it doesn't have any of the Touring's "luxuries"? I think out of all of them the Touring is the best deal. I'm personally not a fan of the spoiler, and the Brembo brakes are over-rated, for the price, IMO.

Oh, and I forgot to add...my 350z got sold 5 days ago. The salesmen I was working with had sold it 2 days before I last talked to him and didn't bother to tell me. I ended up having it out with the Tom Bommarito of Bommarito Nissan in North St. Louis. He offered to sell me a brand new 08 for $1000 under invoice and I ended up yelling at him "WHAT PART OF THAT'S OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE DON'T YOU GET?!" He had already tried to sell me an 07 Z06 for $68k--I laughed in his face and told him he was out of his god dammed mind.

Yep Tuner the dealerships, like I told Danica earlier, have no respect for us and the cost it is to us. Nowadays, do your homework then go to the dealership ready to buy already knowing what features and options and just get it because these monkeys are trained to sway your decision so much you will end up with another type of vehicle that THEY need to move.

As far as Z06, I purchase that plastic Sh** 2 months before my Z and could not believe how bad the ride was, fuel it sucked, and how cheaply it is inside, couldnot believe I payed $69K for this crap. So I went back to the dealership and they the owner of that one had part ownership in a nissan dealership so we haggle and I finally got them to take the Z06 back and give me the Z for almost $8K less than the $42K price tag. Loaded to the gills. Z06 is for an old man to sunday drive not for the fun I have in my Z on a daily basis

Dont ever put up with a salesman's bull because you are a number to them.

The dealers in my area are pretty good. They honest (as far as a sale) and know how to work a deal with you. I'm looking at the Last '07 on the lot, and not many people want it cause the color. It's the Solar Orange one. I love it, and they got it at $25,000 WITH tint, Nismo Exhaust, (Not that I really want that) and 20's ready to roll in style, out of the dealer show room. I would have gotten it already, just a little scared of my Taxes this year...think I'm gonna have to pay, and I don't want a new car payment with an additional payment to Uncle Sam.... bastards!

Track model comes w/ brembos, under body defussers, rays super light wieght rims 18-8 front and 18-8.5 rear. carbon fiber seats, all the best other goodies. (no leather) This was the best when the z came out, then they started letting you add options to the other models.Once again if you want a track model z i have the last of a dieing breed. 05' yellow track w/ the rays light wght rims. A rear car w/ the color. And i know the rims are no 19x10 like they z's get now, but they look sweet (thats why i got the 05') Anywho, vortech super charger, stillen true dual, glow shift gauges, etc, color matching. If interested let me know. 18k miles.
