03M with 06M wheels?

Does anyone have, or have seen an 03M with the newer 19" wheels off of an 06 / 07 M? I really like the newer wheels but am not sure what they would like on my 03. I think they would look great, plus I like sticking with OE wheels. Any pics? Opinions?

Yes, they would look great for sure. Very nice look, indeed!

However, and this is a real issue, the offset is totally wrong for your car! See the stickies in this forum for more information on this (the last post in this thread: zerothread/125907)!

You would have to use significant size spacers (like about 20mm ) and this adds rotational weight to your car - lowers acceleration, etc. Makes wheel/tire balancing and fitment more of a problem too. Along with tire experts (Grant @ tirerack.com said it best), I consider spacers evil and dangerous.

If you really want to do this, you are better off finding the OEM vendor that made those rims, and see if you can get them (or something similar) in the correct offset for the 2003/4 M45.
