03 spec-v problem...again

So back in feb I had some troubles with my o3 spec-v shutting off on me while driving and it was because of camshaft / crankshaft sensors going bad.. so i replaced the sensors and did the ecm reprogramming recall...well, my dad has the same car and is experiencing the same issues, the car shutting off every once in awhile while driving and the CEL throws the camshaft sensor deal, so we replaced it and went to the dealer do the recall to reprogram the ECM..well. That solved it for my car ..but his car is STILL shutting off..yet the CEL isnt coming on..and the tach isnt working...is it possible that the sensor is just well bad? or is there anything else i should check for??
