03 Q45 WATER IN TRUNK HELP

I noticed the other day my trunk carpet was wet, today first nice day in a while emptied the entire trunk.
Found 4" of water in the spare tire compartment. The drain holes still have the plugs in them so took one out to drain. Based on the fact that the carpet was wet the water must be coming from up above but WHERE, the trunk seals are in great shape, no nicks or cuts. Anyone else have this problem or a solution?

check sunroof drains,and antenna drain if you have a mast type antenna.If those all prove to be in their correct place,the next area to check is the tail lamps,which are usually sealed to the car body with a masking sealant which can dry out and crack......or never properly replaced if the car was ever in an accident and tail lamps were replaced.

Well the car was never in an accident, how do you check the sunroof drains?
No exterior antenna on this car.
