03 Q45 Tire Pressure Monitor - Aftermarket Rims

I am planning to buy some aftermaret rims for my 03 Q45 to mount snow tires on. I don't want to buy new sensors for the new rims. What happens if I just put the new rims/tires on without the sensors? What lights/warnings will display. I'm ok with the small light on the dash being lighted during the winter (cover with electric tape), but I'm concerned if there will be warning lights or sounds on the center display - can anyone help tell me what will happen before I buy the rims?

there are rims that take the tpsm, check w/ the tire shop your are buying from

I'm actually wondering what happens if I don't put the TPMS in the new rims, as they will just be used for snow tires. I want to keep the original rims and tires intact, without remove the TPMS from them or buying new ones. Do you know what happens if there are no sensors in the rims?

all it will do is throw on the light in the car, if the light in the car bothers you just put the sensors on and take it to the dealership to reprogram them

Thanks! Are you sure there are no beeps, or information on the center display? Just the yellow tire light on the dash? If that is the case, no problem for me, it will just be a reminder that the snow tires are on. I'm not concerned if it is just the small yellow light.

nothing will happen i had a flat and used my spare which is not registerd to my car ansd no lights were on, just no reading when in info screen.
