03 pathfinder stock bose deck

i want to put a system in but i dont want to change out the stock deck so i can use the steering wheel buttons. do i have to change out the stock deck or can i just get an adapter or some kind of jacks and run it to the amp and subs i have? i'm not sure when it comes to audio i just know how to hook things up but need help with finding something right so i dont have to replace the stock deck...thanks ahead...if you can help me?

First of all, u can replace the deck and still use your steering wheel buttons. its just an extra harness. As far as just adding a single amp and some subs, thats easy too, most amps have the option of running RCA's or line input wires, u gonna use the line input wires and splice into one of your back speakers but the better option is to replace your deck and use RCA's. By better, i mean sound quality both options are real easy

what do you mean splicing the rear speakers? how am i suppose to splice the rear speaker and run it to the amp and subs without it being exposed?...
