03 Pathfinder Intermittent Heat

I just got my 03 Pathfinder in October 2017. A month in, the blower motor was turning off randomly and turning back on. I took it in for a diagnostic, they said blower motor was going out. (A hit and run left me without my Path for the holidays) Dad and I replaced the blower motor last Saturday and then Saturday night....it happened again. It works every morning on my way to work, but usually only works for about the first 10 mins after work. Today, I decided to turn the heat off whenever the fan would stop blowing. This would allow me to turn it back on every 5 or 10 minutes with some air flow for about 15 seconds. I am thinking of trying the resistor next. But from what I've read that may not be my problem. It does seem to decrease in fan speed when it is working. Bumps in the road don't affect it, it stopped working at a stop light today. I don't think it's a short. I'm an army of 1 (except when Dad's available) , so anything that I can do, I'm willing to try. I'm mechanically inclined (somewhat, I have only owned VWs and MINIs until now) and ready to get at it. Please help this girl!

Do you have the Automatic Temperature Control with the digital display?

It may just be the blower motor resistor.
