Queens? No. All of the used cars in NYC metro are badly abused, overpriced, and in poor condition, usually sold by dishonest people. [Same applies to Chicago.]

I'd consider traveling out of state and finding something owned by a quiet older couple in the suburbs.

Both of those cars look hideous.

I agree with both of the opinions above.

Never buy a car with high miles out of the big city (Chicago/NY/DC/Philly/Boston/etc...). They usually live a very rough life!
Also, both of those cars have really bad paint jobs.. what's with the partial silver fetish?

Still, if forced to choose between the two.. typically the G will have a $2k premium over the 350z with all other things being equal. I think most people find the G to be better built, more reliable, and with a backseat.. more functional. But.. it's up to you!

Since they both have the same engine/drivetrain, I would look at the one in better condition + think about the features you want.

I have an 03 Z because I wanted a basic sports car and have other cars to haul the family and stuff. If this is to be your only car, and the cars are in equal condition, I'd lean toward a G, as it has rear seats and more luggage room - more versatile. the Z has a big brace in the middle of the luggage dept which is annoying.

As far a reliability goes, the G35 have shown to be more reliable than the Z, but I think owner demographics might play a role, as new Infiniti purchasers tend to be a little older and more affluent than new Z purchasers.
