When I try to start the car all the electric comes on as normal but it sounds like the starter is trying to turn the engine over but its just making this loud clicking noise. Has anyone had this problem or know what it might be?

Most likely the battery, and if not then it could be the starter, and you'd probably check the whole electrical system including aleternator. Pretty standard problem for any vehicle, just get the electrical tested and they'll tell you right away what the problem.
