New to the NICO forums. My first G35 I bought about 3 weeks ago and I'm currently replacing the missing/broken parts on this car. Its the 03 Sedan G35 Premium with Sports Suspension but it has Mechanical Fan but it doesn't have the dumb doggy door.

I'm mechanically inclined from the looks of it this car has a used/reman motor because on the front cover there is all kinds of written markings everywhere and it runs like a scalded dog to be honest. Top end pull is much better than my bolt on 03 Mustang GT 5 Speed.

The fan shroud is trashed and the cost of a new shroud and labor I might as well do the dual electric fan install.

All my internet searches go to really old outdated posts. One with DaveO and somebody else doing a 10 hour electric fan install but surely now there is a retro fit kit. My only worry is wiring, that's it. The mechanical stuff is easy to me.

I know this car has a electric pusher fan in between the bumper and radiator on the driver side. Than a mechanical fan with clutch on the other side. So there are a ton of dual electric fan kits for our cars costing $100-$200 but I don't know the wiring differences and if its gonna be ok to do. Can I just splice into the electric pusher fan wiring that's already installed? I don't know how that pusher electric fan works or what or when it turns on. If I can it should be a simple install.

Any advise at all guys throw it at me. Its getting hot under the hood now that the top part of the mechical fan shroud is broken and missing.

I don't think you can splice into the other fan, I'm not a G35 guy but I think that's for the AC and won't be on unless the AC is running. It might be triggered to run when the engine is really hot for increased airflow, but I still wouldn't use that signal. I'd buy an adjustable dual fan controller and wire the fans up to that. What controller you use depends on your wallet. An adjustable dual fan controller goes from $60 on up.

I appreciate it. After the post I eventually got around to reading through the FSM to look at the factory wiring on the 6MT cars but it isn't anywhere near the same. Now if I get a universal aftermarket kit does that kit tap into any type of factory sensor to trip a code? I rather not go the old school thermostatic sensor jammed on a fin on the radiator like a 20 year year old motel a/c if I don't have too. I'm having to basically go over this whole car to fix a lot of minor issues so I'm just ready to get it done.

Any certain brand adjustable dual fan controller?
Will these delete my a/c condenser fan?

This will not delete your AC fan.

This controller doesn't use the radiator probe. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/flx-31173
