Whats the best type of performance chip for an 03 Maxima SE?Jet chips? Any other good mods for more HP? K&N Filter? Cold Air intake?Exhaust? Just wondering what people have had best results with.

Best chips for your Maxima are Doritos, I like the cool ranch...

Really, the chips are a bunch of BS. You don't get any real gains from them. Start off with an intake, and headers, then move on to exhaust and suspension.

ECU's in general on a base Maxima won't do much but possibly increase the rev limiter a bit and possibly get rid of the speed governor. If you get headers, intake and the other bolt ons it could increase performance somewhat. The best "bang for the buck" on the '03 performance wise would be headers.

Technosquare started selling reprogramable ECU's fot '02-03 models but I don't know if they still do or not.
