03 max se code P0444 and oil in plug chamber changing plugs

Changed plugs in 03Max SE, plug chamber top right when looking at engine from front was filled with oil. Oil removed with pump (mityvac), plugs replaced, check engine light is now lit sending code P0444. I'm not liking the fact that there is oil in this plug chamber. Car feels normal while driving.
