I recently took my 03 M45 in for some paint work. When I went to pick it up the chrome molding that goes around the top of the door windows was not flush with the body of the car. Can the 03, 04 M owners let me know if it is suppose to sit flush with the body of the car. A picture would help a lot.

Above your windows. the molding has approximately 1/8 inch gap. This is a channel for water to flow through. It should only be tight against the car as the molding around the windows comes down the pillars.

Thanks DRIPS and CakeDaddy for all the help. I never noticed the gap before I have had the car in the garage while I was over sea's. Went to pick up the car and I thought the gap was kind of odd.
