Hi All. Just registered to NICO! I've owned a used 03 M45 now for 6 months or so & killing the miles. Other than needing a good CLAY job, I need a good PDA mount! I've been searching and searching for a M45 specific mount. I have a verizon VX6600. I've looked & looked. Does anyone have any suggestions? Does any of those suction mounts work at all?

Thanks,

Vince Lorto

Welcome to NICO, Vince!

I have not seen any 2003 M45-specific PDA mounts, but have to also admit that I have not gone looking for one either. I use a Samsung i730 from Verizon and just keep it on my belt (turned horizontally in the holster to be comfortable) when I am in the car - kinda don't want to use it when I am driving.

If you find anything that works well for you, please report it here! Thanks!

I have a KUDA mount from this website:

http://www.kudausa.com/

It's a bit pricey, but it looks great and looks like it is actually part of the car, not some add on mount. It is a custom mount for our cars. I actually have my Garmin 660 mounted on it.

On my last car I purchased a KUDA mount for it and had it as a PDA/Ipod mount. You will not be dissapointed with this mount. This is the best possible custom mount you can buy for our cars.! Trust me!

HI Providence.

Thanks for the reply. I hope you have the 2003 M45? Also, where did the mount actually rest? Kuda didn't have a pic available. Would you happen to have a pick of how it mounted? I would really appreciate it. On a few of the pics (not M45 specific), it seems to mount lower to the right of the ashtray. Is that about right? Also, is there any drilling into my beautiful counsel? Or is it a clipon.

Thanks again.

Yes I have an 03. I will post some pics for you when I get a chance in the next couple of days. It does mount to the right of the ashtray/lighter. No drilling is needed...like I said it 's a nice clean mount. You'll see...

I didn't forget about this. It's been too damn cold outside to even snap one picture. It's going to be warmer this weekend. I'll post up some pics then.

LOL. THanks. I hope the camera battery doesn't go dry in the 5 minutes it'll take you. San Diego is a wonderful place. You should visit.

Nice...my cousin who lives in SD came to visit me here and thought she was going to freeze to death in our below zero temps that we have been experiencing. haha!

Anyway, it warmed up to about 30 today so I was outside taking a few pics. The pics don't do this mount any justice. It looks much cleaner in person. I tried every angle and close-up, but the pics make it look bigger than it really is. I did a lot of research and this is the cleanest mount you will find for our cars. Everything else that I've tried or looked at looks cheap and cheesy. I hope you like these pics.

Hi Providence,

Thanks for this. Its been a couple of days since I've been to the forum. It looks pretty good and from my searches, I don't think there really is anything else. Yes, Freezing in San Diego is 40's!!! It's been there a few times last month!

About 3 inches for the mount itself. I went & bought one. I was afraid that it would stick out too much for the passenger but it really doesn't. It's good to go. I have an Audiovox 6600 Pocket PC Cell phone (HTC Blue Angel). The large PDA holding device I bought seems to open automatically so I had to open it up & put a bar inside to force it to not open. All in all, I like it.

Great find! I just ordered one. Apparently, they are selling this mount like crazy due to this post because they are on back order for a couple of weeks. Thanks a lot.
