03 M45: my memory seats wont set

ive read the manual a billion times on how to set my MEMORY seats 1 & 2 but i still cant get it to work.

is there suppose to be a light lighting up in one of the buttons at night? coz mine doesnt.

any help would be appreciated

I held the number button plus the mem button and have never had a problem. There should be a green light come on if I remember correctlycheers

yea, nothing is lit up on mine.

are the buttons on the steering wheel should be lit up tooo?

im thinking it could be a fuse?

No, I dont think the steering wheel controls light up, but I never pay attention to them.

steering wheel doesn't light up.

green light on buttons 1 & 2 only light while you're programing them (about 15 seconds).

i tried it again today...still cant program them.

i tried:

a) push "set" then within 5sec tried pushing "1" b) push and hold "set" then held "1" also

none of them works.

what am i doing wrong?

Driver's door open or closed ? Ignition on or off ?

Try all combinations and let us know what works. I had the same frustrations and I think the solution was to have the door closed and the ignition on.

And the car has to be in Park too ...

Yes, doors must be closed and in park. If yours is still under warranty dealer will check for you.
