'03 M45 LED License Plate Bulbs - Help

I am ready to order a set of Led bulbs but I cannot figure out how to access the OEM bulbs. After reading previous posts, I removed the inside trunk lid panel but I still could not get the bulbs apart from lens housing .

Anyone have an easy DIY write-up for replacing the bulbs?

Go to tunerdome.com i think the bulb for it is the wedge 194. i have them in my car...look in led lights for plate and doors topic

I changed mine out to led's. After removing the interior trunk lid panel you can reach in with a long pair of needlenose pliers and turn the socket counter clockwise and then pull it through the opening in the inner trunk lid frame. Swap out your bulbs and reinstall. Be sure to turn on your lights and verify operation before reassembling everything. Hope this helps.
