Hi, I was told that most of these year model M's come with heated seats, but does that also mean that they should probably come with cooled seats? Also, I am getting an 03 M45 without Nav, is it possible to later get a factory Nav, since the screen is pretty much the same one in the console, or would it be better to get an after market nav? Do you know what the price range is? Thanks a lot!

The standard display is 5.8 inches, so quite a bit smaller than the nav equipped models. They come standard with heat/cool seats. I would get one with nav anyway, very useful.

Climate controlled front seats came with the Premium Package a $2,200 option. That's right off my sticker.

If the car list heated seats it has the cooled seats as well its included in one option. as far as the navigation. if you check the forums this topic has been discussed numerous times. i dont believe anyone has ever achieved it (btw the navi screen is also a larger screen than the standard info lcd), and 2 people got quotes of somewhere around 4 thousand dollars to add the factory nav. In my honest opinion its not even worth it. the 03 m45's navi is soo outdated that a $250 dollar garmin navi is superior to it and a lot better of an idea. Adam

I don't know about that. My navi is awesome. I have the latest Zenrin DVD and my nav works flawless with my voice activation. I don't need touch screen while I'm driving. I had a garmin on a rental car and it was garbage.

yeah, the stock nav in the car does what it's supposed to do. Get you from A to B. I love mine.

All this talk about NAV has motivated me to show off my aftermarket purchase. This is my new heads up display!

Could easily lead to a "head-permanently-6 feet-under-the-ground" display!

Hello,Perhaps it is the bias of having the factory navigation that I do not understand in what way the factory nav system is outdated. This is especially true with the Zenrin update. I absolutely love entering in a phone number and having it tell me where to go. In clusterplucked areas like Miami this is huge. Either way, when looking, having OEM nav adds value when reselling. Now, most of the German automakers nav systems might not be worth much more than a tom tom or whatnot. I do like the new hard drive based solutions however.Cheers,M.L
