I noticed that the coolant level was low and that the coolant was accumulating underneath the intake manifold just behind the thermostat housing. I used a pump to remove the coolant underneath intake manifold about 24fl oz. I could see the coolant rise just behind thermostat housing when i added more coolant.

Has anyone had a similar experience? and what are some of the suggestions of what it could be? thanks

Car has 94,000 miles and coolant flushed every 20,000 miles.

I finally had some free time today to fix the leak under the intake manifold. It turned out to be an o ring that had deteriorated. The o ring from the heater pipe that connects to the cylinder block just behind that water pump. I had to take off the intake manifold, fuel injectors, and a bunch of hoses. It wasn't a hard project i just followed the instructions on the manual that i download from this website.

Don't forget to check underneath the intake manifold for leaks of your m's.
