The dash board vinyl (between the IP and windshield) has developed two cracks and is separating from its base. It seems to be worse on cold mornings than on warmer days. (Its from Texas and I live in NY). How difficult is this panel going to be to replace? Besides the dealer, is there another source for this part?I'm a newbie and a novice, so this may be out of my league. I would appreciate all suggestions. Thank you.

I would go to car-part.com and find the a place close by and get the parts you need. You also could get a dash mat and cover them up. Just a suggestion, some people don't like dash mats.

Depending on your mileage, it might be worth crying and moaning to Infiniti corporate to get some "goodwill" - hopefully your issue is pretty unusual.
