03 Infiniti G35 coupe Bose CD player issues

my cd player sounds like its changing cds but does not do anything and it comes up CD error FO does anybody know what this means, anything I can do to fix it or do I have to bring it to the dealer? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the plastic gears are stripped. Pretty common.

You can take to the dealer or look for an electonics shop that fixes OEM radios. I found a local place that fixed mine and upgraded the resistors for the AC unit that's integrated at the same time (these usually go bad), was a $250 fix, but came with warranty and no issues since.

Beleive there is an online place that fixes them as well.
