I have a power steering fluid leak on my 2003 I35. My mechanic told me its coming from the high pressure hose. The dealer wanted too much for the part so Ive been looking online. The problem is that I am finding a lot of power steering "pressure" hoses that look exactly like the "high pressure" hose, but I cant seem to find any listed as a "high pressure" hose. Are they the same part? My mechanic kept telling me to make sure it is the "high pressure" hose, so I was a little unsure about buying the part just listed as "pressure" hose. Ive been asking around and it sounds like there is a suction hose and a pressure hose, but I figured it would be best to ask people that know. So, does anyone know if there is a difference in the hoses or not?

Go to your local NAPA and see if they can get one for you. I've gotten countless power steering pressure lines from them and they've never done me wrong.

If it's the same hose I had to replace (High power steering line). Your looking at about $200 (no aftermarket parts that I could find) and hours of labor. The infiniti guy told me it was a commonly replaced part, so I'm assuming were dealing with the same issue here. Good luck.

How hard is it to replace the high pressure hose. I need one on my 02 also.
