Hey, Guys...Anyone out there replaced their Bose factory deck and retained control of the non-audio steering wheel controls on a 5th gen, Max? I've replaced the Bose deck with a Pioneer DEH-880PRS and I know that I can use a PAC adapter to retain use of the steering wheel audio controls, but I would like to be able to use the non-audio controls, i.e., the distance till empty, MPG, etc.

yes, if you get the adapter from http://www.crutchfield.com, you can retain the steering wheel controls, and this includes your trip button as well. Good luck, and I wish I were fortunate enough to get an AM headunit, because my 3rd BOSE HU is on it's way out, and I no longer have the factory warranty like before
