Hello,

First time poster here and looking to get into an 03' G35 sedan by end of May and was hoping someone or many could provide me with a rundown of what to expect maintenance wise and everything else.....seeing as how ive already driven the car, the maintenance costs really wont factor in my decision as its already made, but at the same time I am curious of what to expect. Based on the year I am looking at (03) its most likely going to have around 90-100k (55-60Miles) - of all the horror stories you hear of different cars, like "things start to go after 110", etc. Any of this true for the infiniti?

Also, is there anything anyone can tell me about the car that only an owner would know?

Any information anyone can provide is more then appreciated, so thank you in advance.

Regards,

BASIC Entry level near lux car, the first year!. The defects [weaknesses] and fixes are known!Buyer BEWARE and have a paid independent inspection to look for previous covered up modifications and abuse.

Make sure the seller can provide legal written proof of oil changes and dealer services so that Nissan has no qualms about Warranty.

Perhaps ive posted in the wrong forum....other then the 4 doors, i didnt notice anything basic about the car really and as far as near lux, no, its not an S Class.but wholy.....i thought a G35 forum would have people praising the car not telling others to BEWARE of buying it.

Sorry for confusion, i wont post again.

I think you mis-understood Q.

03 was the first year for the G35. So, because it was new, there we're some "bugs" that needed to be fixed.

He was giving you an honest answer and some good advice. He wasn't saying don't buy the G, he was telling you that you are buying a first year car and it's used. So be cautious and have it inspected by a professional

as far as used cars go it is a good buy. We know about the major issues and from what I understand there arent many major ones. The powertrains seem to be really solid!

As soon as you get the car, plan on replacing the brakes, tires, every fluid (diff, brake, oil, trans, ps) unless you have DOCUMENTED PROOF that it has been done recently.
