Hi Folks. The sunroof on my 03 G35 sedan closes but at the very end it's supposed to lift up slightly to get back to the correct roofline position. It used to do that, now it doesn't. I now manually "bump" the close switch & it goes to it's proper position. Can this be adjusted to correct this? Thanks. PeteM.

Welcome to NICO

Check the track for anything caught in it, panties, condom, etc?

Welcome to NICO. Sitck around and you will like it here, We are a big family

I don't know... Sunroofs are tricky. I would go to the dealer for that... IF that doesn't seal right, your car will get flooded when it rains.

Great video. Yikes. You always wonder when the dealer says it'l cost such & such. That's why I don't go there unless I absolutely have to. Thanks. PeteM.

Welcome to NICO

Establishing a good relationship with the dealer is important. There is much routine maintenance that one can do themselves such as tire rotation, oil, air ,cabin filter changes. There are other more complex items best left to factory trained technicians. After spending $35-$40k on a vehicle, purchasing the shop manual can assist an owner to avoid getting ripped off by the dealer. Take care of the service guy $$$ on your first visit. They will always remember you and are less likely to screw you when you return.

Try this,

1) use switch to open sunroof completely, (when sunroof is completely open, hold the switch for about 5 seconds ) 2) close sunroof with switch completely, when it is completely closed ( press the switch multiple times until it closes completely and seals properly ), then hold the switch for about 5 seconds, then release. 3) open sunroof then close normally, it should work ok now.
