I'm planning to buy a used '03 G35 Sedan for 18k and I wanted to hear some feedback from actual '03 owners. Are you guys satisfied with the car? or should I wait and save up a little more for an '04? I'm trying to keep my montly payment lower so the couple k difference in the price makes a hug difference for me. Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated! Thanks!

There are only a couple minor difference between 03 and 04. If you found an 03 w/18k miles, that sounds like a helluva deal. What options does it have? Is it at a dealer? If so, talk them into putting the NISMO aero package on the car to seal the deal, you will not be disappointed.

Welcome to nico,

As we always say. Newest possible with the lowest miles. Well in your case it is important to keep the payments low. There was a few issues with the 03-04 brakes dusting and radio circuit board etc but nothing serious. Also they are not rev up engines. Otherwise they are verry reliable.

well the rev-up sounds nice, but i'm not looking to race or anything, mostly for looks! and the price was 18k with pretty decent low mileage from a dealer. Well as goes for stereo if it screws up, i guess i'll just add an after market, and regarding break dust, would it matter if i get hawk fps brake pads? I'm gona go test drive the car this coming thurs. and if I like it, i think i'ma seal the deal. Maybe I can see if I can get the NISMO Aero Package. Thanks for the info guys!

I got an 03 sedan rwd and I'm very happy with it. there is a little creaking from inside the cabin but nothing too bad. I think it's just from the center console. I would not go with HAWK brake pads either. I have been told by the guys that work on my car that they are harsh on the rotors. They recommended Akebono. I think that's how it's spelled. They make a lot of stock pads for new cars and they work great for me. The guys who work on my car have their own shop and race there own cars and that's what they use with slotted rotors. Other then regular maintenance I have not had any issues besides the 6disc cd changer. It doesn't like burnt cd's. I was also quoted $1000.00 to change it out at Circuit City because they said it would require parts from Japan. Infiniti will replace it though with the same cd changer as long as it's still under warranty. If you do want to fix your G35 up there are plenty of parts available. Plus you can get tons of great information on here!!!

Firstly...a good decision to buy the G35. There is just 1 thing i would like to stress upon.

NO MATTER WHAT, DO NOT USE BURNED CD'S ON THE CD PLAYER. IT WILLLLLLLLLLL GET STUCK!!!.

Apart from that no issues that i know of.

Good luck.

WHOO HOO!! I just came back from the Santa Monica Infiniti Dealership, and brought back a '04 G35 Sedan!!! There were some minor problems during the deal with the store manager, but it all worked out fine. They were very good and I had a pretty good experience. BUT the car!! MY GOD!! Had to get it after the test drive. Now to go get tints, and etc....! haha

You will LOVE your car,but watch out, when I got my 04 sedan 3mo ago I said to myself "no need to do anything to make this car faster....".Well,air intake and plenum spacer are already on the engine, and a cat-back isnt far off....and so it begins.Enjoy your car!

Hope you're happy, I got my 03 sedan with NISMO Aero Kit and love it.I heard someone say that burned CDs might get stuck....well I got my car for 2 years and all I listen to is burned CDs and no problem so far.I got some stuff done to it like....motordyne 5/16" spacer, mrev2, STILLEN AirBox with Z tube. The car is awesome. Last week I was driving to a weeding and one of my friends have a 01 M3 and so we raced a little. We were on a highway that was empty so we took off at 70mph, by the time we hit 140-150 i was car and a half infront of him. I dont know how but i guess he cant drive. lol

Ok... now I've seen it all. Is there really a place where people go to pull plants out of the ground together?

Sorry bro... it's early and I didn't get much sleep.
