03 g35 sedan brake problem
03 g35 sedan brake problem
i have an 03 g35 sedan and the brakes started to make a sqealing noise. i changed the pads to thermoquiet, and i still have the same sqeal. not sure what it could be but as a not my ebrake has not been working for some time now even before the brake job. anyone know how i can fix the two problems. the sound is coming from the rear of the car.

thermoquiet...............watch out for non oem aftermarket pads if noise is one of your concerns. Oem acoustic shims are tuned to match oem pads.
Names like endless, truestop, magic pads. durastop, thermoquiet, etc always worry me...........if the noise wasn't there with oem pads brand new and slowly developed as the pads wore that should tell you what to do.

so i should get oem pads and maybe new shims. what can i do about the ebrake

Follow intructions in FSM to adjust ebake tension or have a technican do it.
