'03 G35 Bumper Replacement???

I'm buying a 2003 g35 coupe this weekend and the paint on the front bumper is chipping off severely. I was wondering if it would be worth it to just replace the bumper than to get it repainted? anyone know where i can find an already painted bumper?? i can't seem to figure out how to attach a pic with this thread. how much do you think would it cost to just get it painted?

For my 05 G35 coupe, I had a repair shop re-paint the bumper. The aftermarket paint is oil-based instead of water-based...much more durable. It was less than $100...

awesome, that's what i want to do. not looking to spend a lot at all, just want some paint

Highly recommend you do that! The paint was much more durable...not a chip or scratch when I sold the car a year later.

just got quoted at $450-550 to repaint my bumper. a little pricey, no?

YES, way pricey! They fixed a nasty dent in my fender, a key scratch on the drivers' side door and repainted my bumper for $600

ya that's what i was thinking, Id rather just get a whole new bumper for that price.

i cant' find anyone that will repaint it for less than $400. are there any good websites that sell bumpers that are already painted??

Depends on the area...mine was probably cheaper because I was having other work done and they already had the paint for that. I'd ask them for a breakdown in the cost...
