I own a very clean well maintained 03 G Coupe. The car is flawless and has the usual factory upgrades. ALL pertinent TSB's & recall items have been performed. I didn't upgrade the brakes to a "Big Brake" kit however, I installed decent drilled/vented rotors (all around) and have EBC cerimac pads. I also installed braided steel brake lines and replaced the brake fluid with the blue stuff. The car has 70,000 miles, mostly highway. The only engine mod is a cold air kit. I have run Castrol syntec in it all it's life. It has new Michlien tires. What should I ask for if I sell it in the paper and what, ballpark, will the dealer give me for a trade? Any comments would be appreciated. In addition, the car has a very comprehensive extended warranty good thru 2011 or 99K, and it's transferable.

Welcome to NICO.

I'd recommend edmunds.com for your car's value. Why not trade it in for a new G37?

That's my plan. I want a G37journey w/ sport package. I was simply fishing for cost comparisons and to see if the dealer's trade in cost would be worth not having to hasel with a private add. Thanks for your response.

Hmm. Best bet will likely be private party. You can probably turn $12k-$13k on your coupe.

Unfortunately, the economy hasn't been nice to resale value. I'm not sure if $3200/year in depreciation is good or bad.

If it makes you feel any better, I listed a friend's 02 Mustang GT Convertible with really low mileage, fully loaded for 9k recently lol. The car is in nearly perfect condition with 1 dent and it needs new rear tires. I've been getting offers in the 7k range

I've had good luck using CARS.COM and Craigslist.

I would list it on Craigslist every Wed and Sat.Load up your pics in Photobucket and link them into your craigslist listing.

Good Luck!
