03 frontier expansion valve

how do i get to it, i have the box kinda open and the dash torn apart but still cant get my hands to the expansion valve, what is the easiest way to get it out

Typically you would remove the entire evaporator assembly out and then split the box open. Why are you removing it? There is a thermal sensor on the evaporator that I'm told is a common failure item - just in case you're chasing a weird issue.
